Fledgling Ninja Hero Hokutomaru Joins FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves

SNK CORPORATION (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka, Japan; Representative Director and CEO: Kenji Matsubara) announced today the addition of HOKUTOMARU, the young ninja disciple, as a playable character in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves — the highly anticipated fighting game set to launch on April 24, 2025.

Voiced by Caleb Yen (English) and Junya Enoki (Japanese), Hokutomaru is a student of Andy Bogard and Mai Shiranui. Following the events of the previous tournament, he left his mountain hideout behind to settle in the bustling metropolis of South Town, with a little help from Terry Bogard. Despite the challenges of urban life, the young Shiranui-style fighter dedicates himself to figuring out how to use his abilities to help others. With a new tournament just around the corner, he sees it as the perfect chance to test how far he’s come.

SNK’s acclaimed Fatal Fury series debuted in 1991, playing a pivotal role in the fighting game boom of the 1990s. The title GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES, released in 1999, remained the last chapter of the saga — until now. 26 years later, the series is back with a brand-new title that promises to thrill fans: FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves.

The game features a unique art style designed to dazzle the senses, along with an innovative REV system that heightens the excitement of battle.
