SEGA SG-1000 Mark III - For real collectors!

The  SEGA  SG-1000 Mark III  (or simply SEGA Mark III for short) offers the same technical characteristics as the Japanese master system, except for the expansion port, which is still compatible with the SG/SC systems. Therefore,  in contrast to the master system , the SEGA  SG-1000 Mark III  can also connect the SK-1100 keyboard and thus use the datasette recorder as well as subsequently add the FM sound chip of the Japanese master system with the FM sound unit, during the expansion port of the master System has never been used on an official product. Compared to the SG-1000/SC-3000 systems, a  SEGA SG-1000 Mark III  additionally use the Mega Cartridges with 1-8MBit as well as the My Card Mark III and can thus (except for western cartridges , which have a different shape and pinouts and floppy disks) play most software without using unofficial adapters. In terms of design, the  SEGA  SG-1000 Mark III  was still strictly based on the template of the SG-1000 Mark II (SG-1000 II for short).
