Virtua Fighter Remix for Saturn is considered one of the forerunners of one -on -one combat with fully 3D environments and characters. The fighters and arenas are represented in flat shaded polygons. Unlike many other fighting games, Virtua Fighter focuses on gameplay based on actual fighting styles rather than outrageous special moves and storylines. Virtua Fighter has eight fighters to choose from and an equal number of battle settings to compete in. Each fighter has a distinctive fighting style and moves.
