The kingdom of Sylvarant is doomed. That's how it's written. But the prophecy also says that a chosen one will come to save the kingdom. So it is that young swordsman Lloyd Irving and his friends suddenly find themselves in the middle of an epic adventure. Namely, he is the chosen one in Tales of Symphonia for GameCube, which is supposed to bring the kingdom of Sylvarant back to life.
