The  Atari Lynx  is the first handheld console with a color screen and was manufactured in the 1990s . The graphical possibilities offered by the  Atari Lynx  were revolutionary for a handheld at the time. The liquid crystal screen has a resolution of 160×102 pixels and can display 16 colors from a total of 4096 colors. The screen is backlit so you can play in complete darkness. The console can be switched to left-handed operation at the push of a button. Up to eight  Atari Lynx  consoles can be used for multiplayer games via the so-called ComLynx portbe merged. With fresh batteries, the  Atari Lynx can be  operated for about four to five hours. Most of the games are conversions of classic Atari slot machines, but the console also offers very good conversions of computer games such as Lemmings.
