About history:

In 1991 Atari released the Lynx II handheld console.

This version, which is much more compact than the Lynx I, has additional energy-saving features, consumes almost 25% less power and was more affordable than the previous model at the time.

Almost 90 games were released for the Lynx by the mid-1990s , including many first-class arcade adaptations and timeless classics such as "Lemmings" and " Shadow of the Beast " and the very popular "California Games".

The then revolutionary technology of the Atari Lynx II was only achieved again with the Gameboy Advance .

The system has numerous special features. For example, the image of the Lynx can be rotated by 180° with the flip button, so that right-handed and left-handed people have the same opportunities. One looks for such features in vain until today!
