Front Mission for SNES:  In the future, many armed forces will rely on giant mech robots called Wanzers (Walking Panzers). Located on Huffman Island, in the Pacific, Wanzers are used by both the USN (United States of the New Continent) and the OCU (Oceana Community Union), who dispute over the island. One night, OCU forces conduct a covert reconnaissance mission at a facility in Larcus , a USN controlled area and weapons facility. Led by a soldier named Roid , this mission was completely unofficial and in violation of the peace treaty. USN troops appeared during the missionled by Commander Driscoll and ambushed the OCU soldiers . During the fight, Roid 's fiancé Karen is killed and the USN facility is blown up ; the fault lies with the OCU. This became known as the " Larcus Incident " and the OCU denied any knowledge of their soldier actions. Ultimately, it would be one of the main causes of the second Huffman war.
