Wario's Woods for NES is a puzzle game similar to Tetris or Columns but with a twist. Instead of directly controlling the falling monsters and bombs, the player controls the toad, which has to carry around stacks of monsters and bombs and match them correctly. A bomb in Wario's  Woods for NES and at least two monsters of the same color must be combined to make it disappear. If 5 or more objects are deleted at the same time, a diamond will appear. If you destroy the diamond, all monsters will be rid of the diamond color.
