Super Daisenryaku   for Mega Drive:  Super Daisenryaku is one of the many titles in SystemSoft 's long-running war strategy series. The game mechanics are based on Daisenryaku II, but many of the included maps are unique to this version, including some that are based on Phantasy Star in SegasConsole version based. There is no campaign mode, and each of the included maps is playable. Some maps are for two players, others for four, and each map can be played with any combination of human and computer. The computer versions also have an editor. The game is played on a large map made up of hexagonal rooms, each made up of one of the included terrain types. Each player controls a number of units (purchased with money), each occupying a space on the playing field. The unit types are mostly based on real military equipment from the time the game was released, what is available to the player depends on the chosen faction.Microcabin adds many smaller ones, such as Sweden and Libya), to alliances and blocs, such as NATO, which uses a mix of equipment from its members.
